The Richard L. and Marlene V. Daugherty Centennial Campus Entrepreneurial Endowment funds this annual business-case competition for NC State startups built on licensed NC State intellectual property. Entrants submit a two-page executive summary in the first round, and the Daugherty Endowment Governance Board selects finalists to submit a five-page written business case and pitch live before it picโ€ฆ

Open only to NC State startup companies built on NC State-owned intellectual property they licensed within the past three years. The Board is looking for a strong executive summary and business plan that shows the company can put licensing income and follow-on investment to work.
