DIANA Challenge Call

Funds companies and SMEs solving NATO defence and security problems with staged, non-dilutive funding through DIANA's Accelerator Programme.

DIANA Challenge Call is a NATO Defence Innovation Accelerator for the North Atlantic (NATO DIANA) programme that funds companies and SMEs solving NATO defence and security problems with staged, non-dilutive funding through its Accelerator Programme. Companies apply first with a short business-identification section — legal name, place of registration, headquarters, and ownership and control attest

DIANA looks for mature, dual-use technology that can serve both defence and commercial markets against NATO's toughest security problems. Its 2027 challenge call covered six themes: human survivability, uncrewed systems, multi-domain sensing, operating in contested environments, responsive logistics, and air defence. It wants solutions already at a meaningful technology readiness level, not early-stage research.
