This Call for Proposals runs under ESA-STAR reference AO10377. ESA pays up to 50% of the acceptable cost for most applicants, rising to up to 80% for SMEs, universities and research institutes, subject to approval by the applicant's National Delegation; the rest must come from the tenderer, private-sector partners or users. Economic Operators send an Outline Proposal to their National Delegation bโ€ฆ

ESA wants Demonstration Projects that give at least one space asset -- satellite navigation, satellite communications, Earth observation or spun-off human-spaceflight technology -- a meaningful role in fighting the impact of COVID-19. Proposals must sit in one of two themes: Healthcare (tele-homecare, patient monitoring, outbreak decision-support, post-crisis backlog recovery) or Education (digital learning platforms, remote training, virtual pupil engagement). Every solution must be GDPR compliant.
