Pays 75% (up to €75K) for satellite-based sustainable-pharma services.
This is a competitive Kick-Start Activity call. Selected activities are funded at 75% by ESA, capped at €75,000 per contract, with the applicant covering the rest. Applicants register on esa-star, download the competition documents once the call opens, prepare a proposal, get a Letter of Authorisation from their National Delegate if needed, and submit via esa-star Tendering by the deadline.
ESA wants Kick-Start proposals that use satellite communications, navigation and Earth observation to cut the pharmaceutical industry's environmental impact. Named uses include reducing waste from unused and expired medicines, tracking drugs and contaminated packaging across their lifecycle, building pharma digital twins, and supporting circular-economy practices such as wastewater-treatment planning and monitoring.
