ISOS4I Ground Demonstrator and USI Qualification
Funds up to €1M to ground-test ISOS4I mission systems and qualify a European interface for future in-space services.
The ISOS4I pilot mission is intended to show how Europe can build a new in-space service economy around interoperable spacecraft functions, upgrades and reusable modules. This topic funds the engineering integration and verification needed before that mission can fly.
The project must bring together the mission components — servicing, HOST, logistics and satAPPs — in an integrated ground test, de…
Support the ISOS4I pilot mission's detailed mission and system design, integrated ground testing at TRL 6 of servicing, HOST, logistics and satAPP mission components, and final verification and qualification at TRL 7 of consolidated Universal Service Interface solutions. Identify the ground-test facilities, integrate previous mission-component R&I, prepare for future in-orbit demonstration or validation, produce a mission-promotion video and VR experience, and coordinate with the prior CSA and linked ISOS actions.
