Horizon Circular E-Mobility Data
Funds four €5–7M innovation projects that make electric vehicles more repairable, traceable and circular through real-world data.
Electric vehicles need longer-lived components, better repair and recovery pathways, and trusted data across their life cycle. This scheduled Horizon Europe Innovation Action funds four €5–7 million projects for a more circular e-mobility ecosystem, with a balanced portfolio across two areas.
Area A focuses on EV powertrain and charging-infrastructure components, excluding battery cells. Projects…
Develop and demonstrate circular-economy solutions for light- and heavy-duty electric vehicles in two areas: Area A, durable and monitorable powertrain and charging-infrastructure components excluding battery cells; or Area B, data-driven life-cycle management using digital twins, product passports and track-and-trace. Projects address repair, reuse, refurbishment, predictive maintenance, design for dismantling, critical-material reduction, FAIR and secure data, real-world load measurement, interoperable APIs and data governance, with completion at TRL 6–7 and reporting to the 2ZERO Partnership.
