Running community-based participatory research with people living or working near polluted or potentially polluted sites to identify and map diseases and other health outcomes associated with soil contamination. Projects should combine contamination science, epidemiology and SSH, involve industrial polluters, co-design locally relevant mitigation and remediation, improve public awareness and FAIR data, and give policymakers actionable recommendations.
