Implementation studies are expected to build on deliverables from the prior SOLACE project rather than start from scratch, and to actively collaborate with parallel projects covering prostate and gastric cancer screening, the EUCanScreen Joint Action on cancer-screening implementation, and a separate EU4Health project on AI adoption in health. The action is also expected to align with the European Commission's Joint Research Centre and the outputs of its planned Initiative on Lung Cancer.
