Cancer Research KI-Mayo Clinic CCC Synergy Grants
Funds Mayo Clinic and Karolinska Institutet teams researching early cancer detection.
Up to three Synergy Grant projects will be funded for four years (2+2, with continued funding contingent on progress), each combining a Mayo Clinic component of $250,000 per year and a Karolinska Institutet component of 2,500,000 SEK per year, for up to $2,000,000 per project. The grants are funded through philanthropic support at both institutions and run through a joint Request for Applications.
The call funds collaborative research teams spanning Mayo Clinic Comprehensive Cancer Center and Cancer Research Karolinska Institutet, focused on Risk Assessment, Early Detection and Interception (REDI) in solid tumors, hematologic malignancies and emerging tools and technologies. Projects using or building AI and data-driven life science methods are especially encouraged.
