The Commission wants a Coordination and Support Action that brings together Europe's HPC, quantum and AI communities to analyse post-exascale research challenges — mixed-precision hardware, AI-driven HPC as a service, real-time HPC, and convergence of HPC/AI/Quantum/Cloud/Edge — and produce a maintained research roadmap. It expects the action to liaise with EuroHPC advisory bodies, industry groups like ETP4HPC and QuIC, and international efforts such as the International Exascale Project.
