The European Commission wants proposals to develop and test Product Environmental Footprint (PEF) category rules and full life-cycle assessments for at least one of: home/interior textiles, metal or plastic end-products, detergents, lubricants, paints and varnishes, polymers, other chemical groups, or ICT products. It wants publicly available datasets and digital tools built so stakeholders can run, verify and compare PEF assessments across a product's whole value chain.
