A European HPC-centric Benchmark Framework is a EuroHPC Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU) grant that pays one consortium EUR 500,000 to 1 million to build a benchmarking framework and suite for exascale and HPC-AI supercomputing systems. A single consortium submits one Research and Innovation Action proposal, capped at 70 pages. Only one project is funded under this topic, and EU funding is capped at…

This call funds the design and deployment of a fair, reproducible benchmarking framework for exascale HPC and HPC-AI systems, plus a benchmarking suite covering microbenchmarks, application/workflow benchmarks and system benchmarks, with a strong focus on energy-efficiency metrics. The framework must be hardware-agnostic, released under the European Union Public Licence, and designed to become a community-driven, continuously updated effort beyond the project's own lifetime.
