EU-India International Collaboration
Funds a coordination and support action to build structured EU-India cooperation on 6G research, connecting European and Indian industry, standards bodies and research programmes.
This Coordination and Support Action is run by the Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking, evaluated in a single-stage round with a 50-page proposal limit. Proposals must analyse and compare the EU's and India's 6G visions and industrial ecosystems, mapping supply chains in both regions to identify concrete, short-term areas for cooperative research with tangible benefit to Europe. The winning consortium must engage directly with Indian standards and industry bodies — including TSDSI and Bharat 6G — describing specific joint activities such as information and data exchange, researcher visits, joint workshops and joint testbeds. Work must also align EU and Indian positions ahead of international standardisation, with a particular focus on ITU-T, ITU-R and 3GPP, and produce research-oriented roadmaps for future collaboration on tools, testbeds and trials.
