Akcelerator — Internationalization Vouchers

Offers Akcelerator program alumni vouchers for internationalization, enabling attendance at global events, missions, and partnership meetings.

The Akcelerator Internationalization Vouchers are a sub-call of the HAMAG-BICRO Acceleration Programme, Croatia's national startup acceleration initiative administered by the Croatian Agency for Small Business, Innovation and Investment. The vouchers provide financial support to companies that are currently enrolled in, or have already completed, the Acceleration Programme, enabling them to pursue international market development activities. Eligible activities include attendance at international startup events, trade fairs, trade missions, partnership meetings, and pitching events abroad. The voucher instrument is designed to reduce the out-of-pocket cost barrier that prevents early-stage Croatian companies from building international commercial traction.

Access is strictly restricted to companies with an active or completed Akcelerator Programme relationship; companies that have not gone through that programme are not eligible. The exact voucher value per beneficiary is not publicly disclosed in the call documentation. The call is open on a rolling basis until allocated funds are exhausted, with a hard closing deadline of 2026-12-01 per the second amendment published on 2026-04-29. The second amendment confirms the call remains actively managed and that budget remains available. Submissions follow standard HAMAG-BICRO digital channels.

For Akcelerator alumni and current participants, these vouchers represent a direct co-funding mechanism for international business development costs that would otherwise come entirely from company working capital. Companies should apply early in the calendar year to maximize the chance of receiving funds before the pool is depleted, as the call closes immediately upon exhaustion of the budget envelope regardless of the December hard deadline.
