Funds Irish third-level researchers turning research into a commercial product or company.
The Feasibility Grant provides €15,000 to validate a market opportunity before development, Proof of Concept Funding provides up to €100,000 to demonstrate proof of concept, and the Commercialisation Fund Award gives access to a wider range of funding and supports to build a commercially viable technology. Enterprise Ireland wants to help third-level researchers in Ireland move research toward commercially viable products, services and companies. It funds three stages: an independent market-opportunity assessment, technical and commercial development of the technology, and de-risking the concept to prove commercial need.
