SEAI Energy Contracting Support Scheme
Funds Irish energy contracting advisory costs for decarbonisation projects.
The SEAI Energy Contracting Support Scheme provides financial assistance for businesses and public sector organisations delivering energy efficiency and decarbonisation projects through Energy Performance Contracts, Local Energy Supply Contracts, and Energy Performance Guarantees.
The scheme funds direct external consultancy and specialist advisory costs for project appraisal and procurement of pay-for-performance energy contracts. Supported activities include preliminary energy audits, feasibility studies, risk assessments, business-case development, financial analysis, legal advice, procurement-option evaluation, and specialist technical, financial, or legal consultancy.
SEAI accepts applications from public and private sectors, including buildings, industry, commercial operations, transport, and utility services. Successful applicants can receive up to 75% of eligible costs, subject to maximums of EUR 50,000 for EPC/LESC and EUR 25,000 for EPG. Applications are open all year through SEAI's Project Evaluation Platform.
