Funds Tier-II/III India deep-tech startups incubated at IIT Ropar's AWaDH hub.
GENESIS is a national MeitY scheme with a Rs. 490 Crore budget over five years, aiming to discover and scale over 1,600 tech startups outside India's metro hubs. IIT Ropar's Technology Innovation Foundation, iHub-AWaDH, delivers the program locally, offering selected startups funding alongside incubation support, mentorship and investor connections.
GENESIS backs startups in electronic design and manufacturing, deep-tech software and product engineering, AI/ML, IoT, and VLSI/semiconductor design. At this hub the initiative centres on deep-tech R&D ventures in agriculture and water technology, built on IoT, AI and cyber-physical systems.
