MeitY Startup Hub GENESIS EIR
Pays a yearly stipend of up to Rs. 10 lakh to entrepreneurs under India's GENESIS scheme.
Amrita TBI is one of the agencies MeitY Startup Hub has appointed nationally to run this Entrepreneur-in-Residence support under its wider GENESIS scheme, evaluating applications against MeitY's own guidelines. Recipients are monitored closely against milestones and can be cut off before their 12-month term ends if they underperform; there is no requirement to bring matching funds.
For individual entrepreneurs, not companies, at the ideation, validation, or very early stage. The idea must align with GENESIS priorities: electronic design and manufacturing, deeptech, AI/ML, IoT, VLSI/semiconductors, cybersecurity, blockchain, quantum computing, and immersive tech, with an emphasis on Tier-2 and Tier-3 city impact.
