Funds Italian research consortia running company-led applied R&D through MUR's Synergy Grant.

MUR Synergy Grant is a Ministry of University and Research grant call under Italy's 2026 research programming framework for applied, innovative and frontier research. The 2026 call has a EUR 50,000,000 total budget for projects that combine advanced cooperation and multidisciplinary integration across Italy's research and innovation system. The decree states a project-cost range of EUR 5 million to EUR 8 million and a maximum project duration of three years, but it does not state a single grant cap or reimbursement rate.

The company path is through the project partnership. Micro enterprises, SMEs, and large enterprises are expressly listed as eligible project executors, and the proposed project activities must be performed by entities qualified as enterprises for at least 51% of total project cost.
