Gives Canadian export-ready founders a shot at a $100,000 cash prize pool across the Startup Global National and Pop-up Pitch Competitions, plus a spot on the Grand Finale stage in Mississauga.
Beyond the headline numbers, eligibility requires at least one year of generating revenue or actively fundraising for R&D, on top of the revenue and funding ceilings already known. In-person pitching isn't free: virtual events across the Startup Global programme are entirely free, but in-person Tour stops are ticketed, with prices kept low to stay accessible to early-stage founders. Startup Global backs Canadian entrepreneurs working toward international expansion, from early-stage to scale-up founders across any industry. To pitch, a business must be primarily based in Canada, under eight years old, with revenue somewhere between roughly $50,000 and $1,000,000 (or actively fundraising for R&D), and total outside funding under $1,000,000. Applicants also need a genuine intention and ability to export or expand internationally within the next two years.
