Outstanding Female Scientist Prize
Awards EUR 20,000 to a woman scientist recognised for global-health research and mentorship in sub-Saharan Africa.
This is a recognition prize, rewarding work already done, rather than an inducement prize that sets a target before the work happens. This prize supports new and established women scientists who have worked on Global Health EDCTP3 programme priorities in sub-Saharan Africa and made a significant scientific contribution. It also weighs measurable research-capacity building through training and mentorship of future African researchers and scientists.
