Innovators in Diabetes develops early-career diabetes researchers -- clinical and non-clinical, including health services researchers -- into future leaders in the field. It builds a UK-wide network of diabetes research scientists through skills training not usually offered in a typical research environment. The programme is sponsored by the pharmaceutical industry and has run for over 10 years.
