MRC particularly welcomes applications within MRC remit that address one or more research areas identified by the ME/CFS Priority Setting Partnership: the biological mechanism, treatment and management of post-exertional malaise; repurposing existing drugs; accurate and reliable diagnostic tests; the immune system; different types of ME/CFS; post-infection disease and long-COVID; central and peripheral nervous system malfunction; genetic links; severe ME/CFS; mitochondria; and oxygen delivery or use.
