Funds research into the health, quality of life and well-being of melanoma survivors, their families and care partners.
Most melanoma research money chases a cure or a better treatment. Very little of it asks what happens to someone's life after they survive. This award exists for that second question.

Research addressing melanoma-specific survivorship — the health, well-being, quality of life and function of melanoma survivors, their families and care partners — requiring at least one melanoma consumer collaborator on the project team. Proposals limited to animal models alone, or measuring survival without quality of life, health or function, are out of scope. Clinical trials are allowed.
