Clinical research on arthritis addressing Prevention and Early Diagnosis or Treatment and Mitigation of Disease Progression and Burden, funded at either of two research levels — Level 1 clinical research or early-phase/pilot trials, or Level 2 full-scale clinical trials — with preliminary or published data required and a community collaborator encouraged at Level 1 and required at Level 2.
