Funds a Tribe, Tribal college, health programme or organisation to establish its own research ethics review board, or strengthen the one it has.
Research on a Tribal community has historically been reviewed by somebody else's ethics board. This award funds the alternative.
Eligible applicants are federally recognised American Indian and Alaska Native Tribes, Tribal colleges and universities, Tribal health programmes, and Tribal organisations. Nobody else.
