Model-to-Clinic (M2C) for Precision Medicine with AI: Integrating Imaging with Multimodal Data (PRIMED-AI)

Funds the move of an imaging-centred multimodal AI tool from a trained and tested prototype towards real clinical use, as regulated device software.

A model that performs well on held-out data is not a clinical tool. This notice funds the distance between those two things.

The starting point is explicit: an AI-enabled, image-centred, multimodal clinical decision support tool, developed as Software as a Medical Device, that has already been through training and testing as a prototype. That prototype has to exist before applying.
