Funds short, exploratory work on what genetic risk factors for brain disorders actually do inside cells and circuits.

Genetics has handed neuroscience a long list of risk factors for conditions like schizophrenia, autism and bipolar disorder. What it has not handed anyone is an explanation of what those factors actually do inside a cell. This notice funds that second question.
