Phased mechanistic research on precision probiotic therapy: a first phase of up to two years using observational or secondary data analysis to identify host biological patterns — native microbiome, immune system, gender, diet, age, genetic background, lifestyle and health history — correlated with heterogeneous probiotic effects, and a second phase testing whether those patterns detect improved probiotic responsiveness. Clinical trials are optional.
