Core Center of Transformative Science grants pooling investigators already funded by NIH or other federal or non-federal sources to extend and enhance research on substance use, addiction and HIV, providing shared resources such as imaging or small-molecule drug chemistry support, prioritizing non-incremental, transformative work and interdisciplinary collaboration, and providing research opportunities for new and early-career investigators.
