Technical-service role in the NIDCD National Human Ear Resource Network — procuring, preparing, sectioning and distributing high-quality human inner and middle ear tissue to auditory and vestibular researchers, developing tissue-preservation methods, uploading digitised temporal bone images to NIDCD-approved databases, and providing technical instruction in preparing ear tissue from post-mortem human temporal bones.
