Core centres embedded in an existing integrated programme of nutrition or obesity research, supporting research core services, a pilot and feasibility grant programme, and a scientific catalyst programme, to increase the efficiency, productivity, effectiveness and multidisciplinary character of the institution's nutrition and obesity research. Clinical trials are optional.
