A network of 3-5 multidisciplinary centers advancing the science of AI science for Stage 2 of the Bridge2AI program, evaluating AI models built elsewhere in the program, producing best practices and evaluation frameworks for trustworthy, reproducible and explainable AI-enabled biomedical and behavioral research, and training the workforce — the grant-funded half of Stage 2's two initiatives, alongside a separate research contract.
