Expressions of interest go through a two-step screening — an eligibility screening and a minimum-standards review — before the Secretariat groups promising submissions into thematic clusters, where applicants build full proposals and strengthen partnerships with each other. The Accelerator backs organizations — UNHCR teams, refugee-led organizations, UN agencies, NGOs, academia and private-sector partners — with a tested, proven-concept solution that improves protection, inclusion or assistance for forcibly displaced and stateless people. It looks for innovations ready to move from pilot to sustainable, system-level scale, not concept-only ideas.
