National Cancer Institute's Investigator-Initiated Early Phase Clinical Trials for Cancer Treatment and Diagnosis
Funds a Phase 0, I or II cancer trial that the investigator designed, inside one of six named National Cancer Institute programme areas.
The National Cancer Institute runs large trial networks, and this is the opposite of that: money for a trial an individual investigator thought of and wants to run.
The phases in scope are 0, I and II — first-in-human, dose-finding and early signal-seeking. The interventions have to be cancer-targeted and either diagnostic or therapeutic.

Investigator-initiated Phase 0, I and II clinical trials of cancer-targeted diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, with at least one trial relevant to Cancer Therapy Evaluation, Cancer Imaging, Cancer Diagnosis, Radiation Research, Complementary and Alternative Medicine, or HIV and AIDS Malignancies research. Trials may stand alone or run alongside other aims.
