Translation of scientific or engineering discoveries into methods, tools or technologies for basic, applied, pre-clinical, clinical or non-clinical research relevant to detecting, preventing, diagnosing, treating or managing disease, developed through academic-industrial partnerships and judged against participating institutes' missions. A clinical trial is not allowed under this version.
