The Technology Adoption Grant under MoIAT's Technology Transformation Incentive Scheme (TTIS) is the largest disclosed direct cash grant in the UAE Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology ecosystem, providing up to AED 10 million per company for adoption of Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing technologies. The grant is designed and overseen by MoIAT at the federal level but disbursed operationally by ADIO, the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, which acts as the emirate-level delivery partner. The grant is linked specifically to the Smart Manufacturing Acceleration Program within the TTIS framework.

Eligible recipients are UAE-based manufacturing companies that undergo an ITTI (Industry Technology Transformation Index) digital maturity assessment. In addition to the cash grant, assessed factories receive complementary incentives: a +5% bonus on their In-Country Value (ICV) score, which confers procurement preference in federal tenders, and Golden Visa eligibility for qualifying employees. The broader TTIS ecosystem also includes AED 4.6 billion in cumulative EDB and First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) financing available since 2021, though that financing pool is separate from the grant and requires independent bank credit qualification.

Because the grant ceiling of AED 10 million is the largest disclosed figure in the MoIAT programme portfolio, it is particularly relevant to manufacturers undertaking large-scale I4.0 transformation projects. Application procedures and eligibility criteria are not fully published on the MoIAT website; prospective applicants should contact MoIAT directly at itti@moiat.gov.ae and separately engage ADIO to understand the disbursement process. The ITTI assessment appears to be a prerequisite for grant consideration.
