Joint call for proposals with South Korea in the quantum domain

Funds Swiss researchers on four-year joint quantum projects with South Korea.

ClosedSwiss National Science FoundationSwitzerland

This one-off joint call between the SNSF and South Korea's National Research Foundation funds Joint Research Projects pairing Swiss researchers with South Korean partners for four-year terms. The SNSF finances only the Swiss side of each project, while NRF funds the Korean partners separately. Around ten projects were expected to be selected, with applications submitted through the SNSF Portal.

The call funds research proposals in the quantum domain, covering quantum computing and simulation, quantum communications and networks, quantum sensing and measurement, foundational quantum information science, and quantum ethics. It is aimed at bilateral Swiss-South Korean teams rather than single-country applicants.
