OP TAK Energy Savings — Call II (Úspory energie)

Supports Czech firms reducing energy use with grants for building, process, and heat-system upgrades.

OP TAK Úspory energie výzva II. is the second call under Priority 3 (Smart Energy) of the Czech Operational Programme Technologies and Applications for Competitiveness (OP TAK) 2021–2027, administered by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MPO) as managing authority, with the Agency for Enterprise and Innovation (API) handling day-to-day implementation. The program targets energy-efficiency upgrades in Czech enterprises across all size categories — building envelope insulation, lighting replacement, HVAC modernization, heat-recovery systems, and production-process retrofits that reduce energy intensity.

Eligible applicants are Czech-registered companies of all sizes — small, medium, and large enterprises — operating in the Czech Republic. Support intensity is higher for smaller enterprises, consistent with EU state-aid frameworks applied across OP TAK. The first call (výzva I.) opened 15 August 2022 and is now archived; the second call was updated 2 October 2024. Full award amounts, support-intensity bands by company size, and the submission deadline are published on optak.gov.cz, which was bot-blocked at source capture. A third call (výzva III.) is confirmed in the OP TAK 2026 call harmonogram.

Applications are submitted through the ISKP21+ portal, which is the standard submission route for all OP TAK calls. Teams should verify current call documentation directly at optak.gov.cz before preparing a proposal, as intensity bands and eligible cost categories are defined at the call level. The program serves companies in manufacturing, food processing, construction-related industries, and any sector with significant building or process energy consumption. With výzva III. already scheduled, organizations that miss the current cycle have a near-term future window.
