Climate-Resilient Multimodal Passenger Hubs
Funds two €9M Innovation Actions to make multimodal passenger hubs safer, more inclusive and resilient to climate disruption.
Transport hubs face floods, storms, heat, drought, water scarcity, sea-level rise and other climate stresses that can interrupt services and worsen inequality. This topic funds practical Innovation Actions that connect climate adaptation with modal shift and inclusive passenger experience.
Projects must work with at least three cities from different eligible countries, including a Climate-Neutral…
Demonstrate climate-resilient multimodal passenger hubs in and between cities and in peri-urban or rural areas. Each project must deploy at least three demonstrators and improve connections to public transport, walking, cycling, shared mobility and micromobility. Solutions should identify climate vulnerabilities, protect infrastructure and service continuity, use nature-based adaptation and practical digital or AI monitoring, and improve accessibility for marginalised passengers.
