Programa de apoyo a las Agrupaciones Empresariales Innovadoras (AEI)

Funds Spain's registered Agrupaciones Empresariales Innovadoras (innovative business clusters) to run competitiveness, R&D and digital- or green-transition projects on behalf of their SME members.

Public funds are awarded through four separate lines covering cluster operating support, feasibility studies and two tiers of R&D&I project. The 2026 call opened applications on 30 May 2026 and closed them on 26 June 2026 at 18:00; the funder's portal shows the call as out of term.

This programme supports clusters formally recognised as Agrupaciones Empresariales Innovadoras, once listed in the Ministry's own registry. It can fund the cluster's own running costs, technical feasibility studies, R&D&I projects tied to strategic autonomy, digital transformation or ecological transition, and cooperative R&D&I projects addressing strategic challenges.
