MultiPMData2026 is the EP PerMed Research, Innovation and Technology Call for 2026, coordinated by ANR with 19 funding organisations under the European Partnership for Personalised Medicine, supported by the European Union under Horizon Europe Grant Agreement N° 101137129. The available budget across the full call is over EUR 14.8 million. The call funds transnational innovation projects in human health that apply multimodal data approaches to personalised medicine for multimorbid patients — those living with at least two chronic diseases. Eligible project activities include detection and characterisation of comorbidities, diagnosis and disease-progression monitoring, promoting a shift from in-patient to out-patient care via remote monitoring, decision support for intervention strategies, tracking multiple treatments, and supporting adherence to long-term regimens. Early-stage and proof-of-concept clinical studies are in scope; larger clinical trials are not. Sixteen countries participate: Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Portugal, Romania, Slovak Republic, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, and Turkey.

Only transnational consortia are funded; purely national projects are ineligible. Each consortium must mandatorily include a clinical partner and at least one SME or industry partner. ANR funds only the French partners of selected projects. Funded researchers must respect the Nagoya protocol guidelines and are expected to pursue open-access publication. Submission was two-stage: pre-proposals were due 12 January 2026 and full proposals were due 27 April 2026, both now closed. All submissions were made via the centralised PT-Outline electronic platform; ANR accepted no direct submissions.

The call uses a two-step evaluation procedure. Winning consortia are those that convincingly demonstrate multimodal data integration across clinical and non-clinical data types, involve a credible clinical partner and at least one industry co-developer, and show a clear path from proof-of-concept to clinical and regulatory translation. ANR contacts for the call are Mylène Vaillancourt and Mérick Machouri at EPPerMed@agencerecherche.fr.

Multimodal data usage in personalised medicine for multimorbid patients with at least two chronic diseases. Topics: comorbidity detection, diagnosis/follow-up, in-patient-to-out-patient shift, decision support, multi-treatment tracking, adherence to long-term regimens.
