Global call according to SRIA 2025
Funds around twelve open-topic chip Innovation Action projects — pilot lines, test beds, demonstrators or market-replication pilots — anywhere across the Chips JU's technology and application roadmap.
This is a two-stage Horizon Europe Innovation Action run by the Chips JU, with twelve grants expected from this topic's own budget line. A short Stage 1 proposal is due first, and only applicants invited forward submit a full Stage 2 proposal; two focused topics under the same call (FT1: RISC-V automotive hardware, FT2: AI-assisted engineering tools) carry their own separate budgets.
Unlike the call's other topics, this one is not restricted to a single named technology: any project doing technology or method introduction, pilot lines, test beds, demonstrators or first-of-a-kind market replication within the Chips JU's Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda is eligible. Market replication must be new to Europe or new to the application sector, not a repeat of an already-successful deployment.
