RIA Global call according to SRIA 2026
Funds around eight early-stage chip research projects, TRL 3-4, that develop and lab-test innovative technologies against the Chips JU's 2026 roadmap.
This is a two-stage Horizon Europe Research and Innovation Action run by the Chips JU, with eight grants expected. A short Stage 1 proposal is due first, and only applicants invited forward submit a full Stage 2 proposal; consortia typically mix SMEs, large enterprises, universities, institutes and public organisations.
The call is open to any Research and Innovation Action within the Chips JU's Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda: applied research, technology development, or method/tool integration and validation on a small-scale lab or simulated prototype, centred at TRL 3-4. Chips JU wants a balanced portfolio spanning both new-technology development and the different application domains that use it.
