Interreg Öresund-Kattegat-Skagerrak (OKS) is an EU-funded cross-border cooperation programme administered by Tillväxtverket as the Swedish managing authority, covering the border regions of Sweden, Denmark, and Norway. The programme operates under a total budget of EUR 140 million for the 2021–2027 funding period and supports collaborative projects across four thematic priorities: innovation and entrepreneurship, green transition, sustainable transport and mobility, and borderless labour market integration.

Swedish and Danish project partners are eligible to receive EU co-financing of up to 60% of eligible project costs, while Norwegian partners qualify for up to 50% co-financing. All projects must involve at least two organisations from different participating countries — solo national applications are not accepted. Eligible entities include businesses (for-profit), non-profits, universities, and research organisations registered or operating in the Swedish regions of Skåne, Halland, or Västra Götaland, in corresponding Danish regions, or in participating Norwegian regions. Individual applicants are not eligible. Award sizes vary by project scope; no fixed per-project ceiling is published at the programme level.

Calls are managed through the interreg-oks.eu portal; Tillväxtverket handles Swedish managing authority functions. Applicants should monitor the portal for open call windows, as the programme operates rolling and thematic calls throughout the programme period to 2027. Successful applications require a well-defined cross-border need, named partners from at least two countries, and a clear project plan addressing one of the four programme priorities. Early engagement with the national contact points in each participating country is strongly recommended before submission.

Funds cross-border collaborative projects across Sweden, Denmark, and Norway in innovation and entrepreneurship, green transition, transport and mobility, and borderless labour market integration.
