The Heritage Revival Fund supports communities across England to rescue and repurpose neglected historic buildings. It funds charities and social enterprises seeking to take ownership of and/or adapt historic buildings for community uses.

In scope: taking ownership of, adapting and reusing neglected historic buildings and local heritage assets for community uses; regenerating historic buildings in town centre locations; feasibility studies, development of business plans, design, surveys, conservation and repair. The programme focuses especially on deprived areas. For places of worship, ongoing worship must account for less than half of the proposed use of the space.
