In scope: research where the majority of the research novelty lies within EPSRC’s mathematical sciences remit; for interdisciplinary projects, development of novel mathematical and statistical tools to applications, including novel combinations of existing mathematical techniques. Out of scope: applications where the majority of research is within the remits of other EPSRC themes or other research councils; application of mature or well-established methodologies into applications.
