Pays up to £8,000 in capacity-building support for organisations Esmée already funds.
Only organisations that already hold an active grant or social investment from Esmée Fairbairn can apply, for up to £8,000 towards a consultant or provider of their choosing. It is a responsive, demand-led fund with no fixed application round, though Esmée is unlikely to fund an organisation that received Funding Plus support in the past three years given current demand. Funding Plus pays for tailored expert advice, consultancy or training that helps an existing Esmée-funded organisation make the most of an opportunity or handle a challenge -- covering strategic planning, digital and fundraising strategy, diversity and inclusion work, wellbeing support, change management, financial health, HR and recruitment. It does not cover core delivery work, projects already underway, capital costs, memberships, website hosting, flights or professional qualifications. Esmée currently prioritises first-time Funding Plus applicants, organisations led by communities facing racial inequity or with lived experience of the issues they tackle, non-environmental organisations acting on climate change, and organisations advancing diversity, equity and inclusion.
