This grant supports the up-front cost of new electric wheelchair accessible vehicles (WAVs). Eligible WAVs can be sold with a discount included in the purchase price.

In scope: new wheelchair accessible vehicles converted from a passenger vehicle, with zero tailpipe CO2 emissions and the required emissions-free range. Pre-registration conversions are eligible. Out of scope: post-registration conversions. The cost of conversion and delivery fees are not included in the vehicle price test.
