Support is for the cost of installing electric vehicle chargepoint sockets at sites, including the purchase and installation of EV chargepoints and infrastructure. The scheme supports chargepoints in workplaces. Sites outside England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, parking not designated to the applicant, parking solely for customer use, unbuilt parking facilities, and certain domestic-property parking are not eligible. The grant cannot be given where chargepoints or infrastructure are a mandatory requirement.
